According to Bleacher Report, the Portland Trail Blazers are expected to offer Damian Lillard a two-year contract extension worth over $100 million.
Portland is desperate to keep their star point guard, who’s already on a four-year, $176,265,152 contract signed through the 2024-25 season.
The Trail Blazers also recently dealt for Jerami Grant from Detroit, and guaranteed Josh Hart’s $12.9 million contract for next season.
Lillard only played in 29 games last season due to injuries and rest because of the team’s underwhelming performance.
It seems like the soon to be 32-year-old won’t make a trade request, but it remains up in the air for the time being.
