The NBA’s salary cap for the 2022-2023 season is projected to be increased to approximately $123.6 million, according to Tim Bontemps of ESPN.

It’s an $`11.6 million increase from the previous 2021-22 season.

This is great news for teams that have been above the luxury tax threshold in recent years.

The new figures will reflect an increase in Basketball Related Income (BRI) that will be generated next season.

The National Basketball Association has grown substantially over time, and their top three franchises are worth roughly $17 billion.
