Jerry Jones says he’ll never sell the Dallas Cowboys

Associated Press

Long time Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones spoke with NBC Sports and mentioned he’ll “never” sell the franchise.

Jones stated to Peter King of NBC:

“But let me make this very clear, I’ll say it definitively. I will never do it. I will never sell the Cowboys. Ever.”

Jones purchased the franchise in 1989 for $150 million, and it’s estimated that he could earn more than $10 billion if he sold the team today.

Currently at 80-years-old, Jones is reportedly involved in the team’s day-to-day management just as he was back in the early-90s glory years.

With this news, expect the Jones family to hold on to the Cowboys franchise as long as the NFL exists.
