Kyle Lowry unlikely to play Game 1 of ECF

Sun Sentinel

Miami Heat veteran point guard Kyle Lowry missed practice Monday, and he’s unlikely to suit up for Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Finals.

Game 1 is scheduled for Tuesday night, and Lowry is trending in the downward direction to face off against Boston Celtics.

The 36-year-old Lowry missed the first two games of last round’s series against the Sixers, and he’s struggled in both Game 3 and 4 totaling just six points in the contests before missing games 5 and 6.

Gabe Vincent and Victor Oladipo have been benefitting for Miami with Lowry out, and of course Tyler Herro picking up some slack as well.

Miami is currently the -1.5 favorite over the Celtics for Game 1 with home court advantage, but we’ll see if they can match the surging play of Boston led by Jayson Tatum.
