Dillian Whyte has signed a contract to fight WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury for a bout to take place in April.
The fight is expected to take place at Wembley Stadium in London, England on April 23, which was confirmed by Fury.
“Dillian Whyte signed his contract for $8M, what a surprise,” Fury said on his social media account.
“The man’s signed for the biggest payday he’s going to get in his life.”
Whyte currently holds the WBC interim heavyweight title since March 2021 after defeating Alexander Povetkin by TKO.
The 33-year-old has a 28-2 boxing record with 19 knockouts.
Fury is coming off back to back pummeling knockouts to Deontay Wilder, and he’s putting the WBC and The Ring heavyweight titles on the line against Whyte.
