Minnesota Vikings tight end Kyle Rudolph shared that he wouldn’t take a pay cut on the Unrestricted with Ben Leber Podcast.
Rudolph also shared his disappointment with his usage over the last two seasons with the team.
He saw just 48 targets in 16 games in 2019, followed by an even lower count of targets of 37 in 2020.
The Vikings have been using Adam Thielen heavily alongside stud rookie wideout Justin Jefferson and tight end Irv Smith in 2020 with Rudolph taking a backseat.
Rudolph will enter the second year of his 4-year, $36 million contract that he signed in 2019, and he’s owed $9,450,000 in 2021.
