The Carolina Panthers have re-signed safety Eric Reid to a 3-year, $22,000,000 contract.

Being blackballed last season, Reid lingered on the open market until September.

He almost immediately became an every-down player for the Panthers upon making his Carolina debut in Week 5, continuing his solid play from his days with San Francisco.

At age 27, Reid is a big hitter with positional versatility.
