Freddy Peralta is scheduled to return on Wednesday for the Brewers to face the Pittsburgh Pirates.
Peralta is finally making his return following a two-month absence due to a right posterior shoulder strain.
Although he’s returning, the Brewers may have a pitch count on the 26-year-old for precautionary reasons.
However, fantasy managers should activate Peralta either way as he’ll be pitching against a struggling Pirates lineup who are 2-8 in their last 10 games and have lost seven straight.
Before being placed on the 60-day injured list with his shoulder injury, Peralta carried a 4.42 ERA with a 3-2 record and 50 strikeouts in 2022.
