Druw Jones, son of Braves Hall of Famer Andruw Jones, has reportedly agreed to a $8.19 million signing bonus with the Arizona Diamondbacks.
The bonus for the 18-year-old is the largest ever for a high school position player.
Jones was selected second overall in the 2022 MLB Draft by Arizona, which took place on Sunday.
The $8.19 million signing bonus tops the $7.7 million that Bobby Witt Jr. earned from the Kansas City Royals in 2019.
