AC Milan has signed 40-year-old striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic to a one-year contract extension.
The move secures Ibrahimovic through a deal after he turns 41 in October.
The former Manchester United and Paris St-Germain member scored eight league goals last season as Milan beat rivals Inter to the Serie A title.
Ibrahimovic was also at the club when Milan last won the Scudetto when he joined on loan from Barcelona and scored 14 goals in 29 appearances to help them earn the 2011 title.
He’s currently Sweden’s all-time leading scorer with 62 goals in 121 international appearances, and he’s the only outfield player in his 40s in Europe’s top leagues.
According to Celebrity Net Worth, Ibrahimovic has a net worth of $190 million.
