Yordan Alvarez is back in the Houston Astros starting lineup on Tuesday against the New York Mets.
Alvarez missed Sunday’s game against the White Sox with an apparent hand injury and team manager Dusty Baker was unclear about the severity injury.
However, Alvarez is returning to the lineup tonight and batting cleanup against Trevor Williams, who’s got a 1-3 record and 3.53 ERA.
Alvarez will look to pick up where he left off to start the season, where’s hit 18 home runs, 47 RBI, 41 runs scored across 59 games played.
