According to ESPN, Mike D’Antoni will meet with Michael Jordan today about the Charlotte Hornets open head coach position.
After Warriors assistant coach Kenny Atkinson declined the job, the Hornets are meeting with D’Antoni today, who was previously a candidate for the vacancy.
D’Antoni’s coaching style is typically offensively heavy, which would great news for players like LaMelo Ball and Miles Bridges.

The 71-year-old is currently serving as an assistant on the Brooklyn Nets coaching staff under Steve Nash, who he coached when he played for the Phoenix Suns.
D’Antoni last was a head coach from 2016-2020 for the Houston Rockets.
