Stephen Strasburg will make his season debut for the Washington Nationals Thursday in Miami to face the Marlins.
Strasburg has recovered from surgery for thoracic outlet syndrome that’s kept him out for the season.
The 33-year-old ace played very well in a three-start minor league rehab assignment, posting a 1.98 ERA with 13 strikeouts over 13 2/3 innings between Single-A Fredericksburg and Triple-A Rochester.
Currently last in the NL East, Washington certainly will hope for Strasburg to work his way back to the elite level as he was throughout his career.
Rostered in just 48.4% of ESPN fantasy baseball leagues, Strasburg is certainly worth an add if he’s available in your league.
