Brewers activate Hunter Renfroe from IL

The Milwaukee Brewers activated outfielder Hunter Renfroe from the 10-day injured list from a right hamstring strain.

The 30-year-old was sidelined for over two weeks with the injury, but he’s making his return for the series opener against the Phillies.

Renfroe was playing well over his last 10 games, slashing .405 (15-for-37) with three home runs and eight RBI.

Look for Renfroe to pick up where he left off prior to the injury against Philadelphia, who recently parted ways with manager Joe Girardi after a slow start.
