Texas Rangers starting pitcher Jon Gray will make the start Monday against the Los Angeles Angels.
Gray will face off with Noah Syndergaard after leaving his previous start against the Yankees with a left knee injury.
However, he faced no set back and will take the mound tonight in Texas.
The 30-year-old veteran righty also missed time earlier this season with a left knee strain, but he’s expected to be in good shape moving forward in 2022.
Gray’s accumulated a 5.51 ERA in four games played this season, throwing for 10 earned runs and 15 strikeouts across 16.1 innings pitched.
