The Milwaukee Brewers placed 24-year-old infielder Luis Urias on the 10-day injury list with a left quad strain.
Urias has a breakout season in 2021, but unfortunately he’ll begin 2022 on the IL.
The prospect batted .249/.345/.445 last season with 23 home runs, 75 RBI, and 77 runs across 150 games played.
Jace Peterson is at third base for Milwaukee on Opening Day where the team’s on the road in a four-game series against the Chicago Cubs.
Hopefully, Urias can rejoin the group healthy in the near future.
