The Indianapolis Colts acquired quarterback Matt Ryan from the Atlanta Falcons for a 2022 third-round pick.
After dealing Carson Wentz to the Washington Commanders a couple weeks ago, Indianapolis is heading in a LA Rams type direction acquiring Matt Ryan.
Ryan, the 2016 MVP, threw for 3,968 yards last season with 20 touchdowns and 12 interceptions.
The Colts are making a similar move to the Rams last season where they acquired Matt Stafford, which ultimately led them to a Super Bowl victory.
Stud running back Jonathan Taylor will benefit further from the move after a nightmare finish led by Wentz down the stretch of the 2021 season.
Indianapolis will now take a $23,750,000 salary cap hit for 2022 after dealing for Ryan.
