27-year-old wideout Kelvin Benjamin has signed with the Kansas City Chiefs according to ESPN insider Adam Schefter.
The move comes shortly after Benjamin was released by Buffalo, and he went unclaimed on waivers.
Benjamin has a base salary of $8.459 million this season, and he has the right to collect the balance from the Bills ($1.99 million) as termination pay.
Chiefs QB Pat Mahomes now has another solid receiving option next to Tyreek Hill and Sammy Watkins, as Benjamin comes with a big 6’5, 245 lb frame.
Kansas City is pushing for a deep playoff run, and the addition of Kelvin Benjamin is a big statement.
