Patrick Mahomes gets a light practice on Wednesday

USA Today Sports

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes finished a limited practice after being placed in concussion protocol a few days ago.

Mahomes reportedly has no concussion symptoms, but he remains in protocol.

Kansas City plans to give him an extended workload for the rest of the week, so this should mean he’ll be able to start on Sunday in the AFC Conference Championship against the Buffalo Bills.

Mahomes is also dealing with a minor foot injury, also suffered against Cleveland.
