The Tennessee Titans released 31-year-old cornerback Malcolm Butler saving the team $10.2 million in cap space.
The Titans had a bad season last year defensively, but Butler wasn’t the main culprit.
However, he didn’t live up to his five-year, $61,250,000 contract signed back in March of 2018.
Although he’s been released, Butler will receive a good amount of phone calls from teams in need of secondary help.
Butler played in all 16 games last season for Tennessee and he posted 100 total tackles, 14 passes defended, and four interceptions.
