The Tennessee Titans will not franchise tag tight end Jonnu Smith, making him an unrestricted free agent.

Smith was on the final year of his four-year, $3,106,288 rookie contract signed with the team last season.

Now, he’ll have to test the free agent market where he’ll receive plenty of phone calls.

The 25-year old had 41 receptions for 448 yards and eight touchdowns in 2020.

Smith along with Hunter Henry will be the top sought out tight ends for the upcoming free agency period.
