Portland Trail Blazers center Jusuf Nurkic could return to game action within the next few weeks for the team.
Nurkic said that his wrist is doing great and he expects to return soon.
“The wrist is doing great as you can see, pretty much almost there.”
Nurkic hasn’t played a game since January 14, so he’ll likely be eased back on a restriction when he returns.
The 26-year-old was averaging 9.8 points and 7.7 rebounds in 23:21 minutes per game before the injury.
Nurkic is certainly capable of putting up big numbers, but his conditioning remains a question down the stretch of the season.
However, he’s worth a fantasy add in standard leagues if he’s a available.
Enes Kanter’s fantasy value will decrease heavily one Nurkic returns in the lineup.
