The Las Vegas Raiders released right guard Gabe Jackson Wednesday, saving $9.6 million in cap space.
Jackson was previously on a five-year, $55 million deal signed in 2017 with the team.
Last season, the 19-year-old was rated the number 40 overall guard out of 80 qualifiers on Pro Football Focus.
He’s played better throughout his career, but no one can escape father time.
Jackson surely has more good seasons left in him, and he should receive calls in the free agency period.
