New York Jets general manager Joe Douglas said he’ll answer teams seeking a potential Sam Darnold trade.
Douglas said, “If calls are made, I will answer them.”
With the Jets expected to select a quarterback in the upcoming 2021 NFL Draft, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Darnold being moved.
Douglas also has stated that he doesn’t believe the Jets not knowing who their week one QB will be will affect the team during free agency.
Darnold has a lot of potential, but he’s head next to no help on terrible rosters in his first three seasons with the team.
Hopefully something can get done to help out the 23-year-old, and a new team and organization may be the best thing for him.
