Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban has shut down trade rumors involving star power forward Kristaps Porzingis.

SNY’s Ian Begley originally reported that the Mavs were gauging interest by the Golden State Warriors for Porzingis, but Cuban stated that the report was not accurate.

“We have not discussed him in a trade at all,” Cuban said. “Has not happened.”

Porzingis is currently on a five-year, $158,253,000 max contract that he signed with Dallas in 2019.

In 17 games played this season, the 25-year-old is averaging 20.5 points and 8.2 rebounds shooting 47.3% shooting from the field.
