The Toronto Blue Jays signed 31-year-old outfielder George Springer to a six-year, $150 million contract.
Accoring to Rotoworld, the deal was agreed to last week, but the deal will be official once Springer passes a physical.
The deal will include a $10 million signing bonus, $22 million salary in 2021, $28 million in 2022, and $22.5 million each season from 2023-25.
His new contract will also include a partial no-trade clause to eight teams.
Springer will be part in a strong Blue Jays lineup featuring himself, Vladimir Guerro Jr. Teoscar Hernandez, Bo Bichette, and Lourdes Gurriel Jr.
