According to Jorge Castillo of the LA Times, free agent third baseman Justin Turner is seeking a four-year contract this offseason.

However, he noted that the “Dodgers do not want to commit more than two years to a 36-year-old 3B who’s mobility has appreciably diminished in recent seasons.”

Harsh words coming from the LA Times, but unfortunately Turner’s age is getting up there.

Turner slashed a not bad .307/.400/.460 in 175 plate appearances last season with four home runs and 23 RBI.
