The Golden State Warriors are trading for Kelly Oubre from OKC in exchange for a 2021 first-round pick.

Trading for Oubre will help the Warriors help fill the void of Klay Thompson, who recently went down with an Achilles injury and will miss the season.

Oubre is a very solid wing player who defends, and his skills are continuing to grow since his time spent in Washington.

The move also adds size to the lineup, who also have Andrew Wiggins in the front court.

Oubre had career highs last season averaging 18.7 points and 6.4 rebounds per game.

The 24-year-old was first a part of the package that helped the Suns land Chris Paul, but his final destination will be Golden State.
