The Los Angeles Dodgers have acquired shortstop Manny Machado from the Baltimore Orioles for outfielder Yuzniel Diaz, pitching prospect Dean Kremer, third baseman Rylan Bannon, infileder Breyvic Valera, and pitcher Zach Pop.

25-year-old Machado has a slash line of .315/.387/.575 so far this season with 24 home runs and 65 RBI.

The Dodgers will pick up Machado’s remaining 1-year, $16 million contract signed with Baltimore. The All-Star shortstop has earned $39,449,786 from contracts in his first eight seasons.
