Outfielder Avisail Garcia and shortstop Jon Berti are returning to the Marlins lineup Tuesday against the Phillies.
Garcia has been sidelined for the last month with a hamstring injury while Berti had a three-game absence with a hip injury.
However, both are returning to the starting lineup to face Philadelphia who are battling for a Wild Card spot in the playoffs
Garcia’s slashing .232/.269/.322 with seven home runs and four steals in 342 plate appearances since signing with the team last year.
Berti is still leading the league in stolen bases (32) although missing games in July, August, and early this month with injuries.
