The Dodgers placed starting pitcher Tony Gonsolin on the 15-day injured list with a right forearm strain.
Gonsolin was originally scheduled to take the start Monday’s series finale against the Marlins, but now he’s been unexpectedly placed on the IL.
The 28-year-old has been spectacular in his fourth career season, and he’s posted a stellar 16-1 record with a 2.10 ERA across 23 starts.
Gonsolin thinks he’ll require the minimum stint on the injury list, but he said he had “some tightness coming out of my last start.”
Right-Hander Michael Grove will start in his place tonight against Miami.
