J.K. Dobbins ‘no sure thing’ for Week 1

The NFL Network has reported that Baltimore Ravens running back J.K. Dobbins “is no sure thing” to be ready for Week 1.

The outlet also reported that Dobbins has not had any setbacks in his rehab and that it’s is going well.

Unfortunately in addition to tearing his ACL, there was reportedly a meniscus tear and “damage to the lateral side.”

Dobbins availability is unclear for the beginning of the season, but hopefully the 23-year-old can hit the field at some point early next season.

Teammate Gus Edwards, who’s also coming off an ACL tear, seems more likely to be ready for Week 1.

Dobbins last ran for 805 yards and nine touchdowns in 2020 with Baltimore before his injury.

*UPDATE*

Since earlier reported, Dobbins has clapped back at Ian Rapoport over his availability.
