The Miami Marlins placed INF/OFÂ Jon Berti on the 10-day injured list with a left groin strain.
Miami called Berti’s strain mild when he exited Thursday’s contest, so hopefully he won’t be sidelined for too long.
The 32-year-old is leading the league so far this season with 28 steals, which is the major part of his fantasy value.
Miami also activated outfielder Jorge Soler from the 10-day injured list, which gives them some power behind the plate.
The Marlins are beginning a series Friday night against the Philadelphia Phillies.
