The Athletic has reported that the Toronto Blue Jays have parted ways with manager Charlie Montoyo.
Montoyo’s duties have been relived after an overall record of 236-236 across four seasons with the ball club.
Toronto currently holds a 46-42 record for the 2022 season, but they’ve lost eight of their last ten games.
Under Montoyo, the Blue Jays made just one playoff appearance in 2020 where they were defeated in the ALWC.
