Manchester United signed 22-year-old fullback Tyrell Malacia from Feyenoord on a four-year contract until June 2026.
The deal comes with the option of a further year when it’s completed.
Malacia, out of the Netherlands, will cost 15m euros (£13m) with an additional 2m euros (£1.7m) in add-ons.
“It’s an incredible feeling to have joined,” Malacia said. “This is a new chapter for me, a new league with new teammates and a tremendous manager leading us.”
“I know from playing against his teams in the Eredivisie, the qualities that he has and what he demands of his players.
“While I know that I am still young and will continue to develop, I can promise the United fans that I will leave everything on the pitch every time I pull on the red shirt.”
Malacia has been a member of the Netherlands national team since 2014 and has made 98 appearances for Feyenoord since 2017.
