Yordan Alvarez is returning to the Houston Astros starting lineup Saturday against the Angels.
Alvarez was sidelined for the last two games after an on-field collision with teammate Jeremy Pena earlier this week.
However, he’s cleared concussion protocol and returns to the Astros lineup on Saturday.
Alvarez was a monster last month for Houston, batting .418/.510/.835 with nine home runs and 28 RBI across 23 games.
On June 3, the 25-year-old inked a six-year, $115 million contract extension to remain with the Astros for the future.
