The Washington Wizards have acquired Will Barton and Monte Morris from the Denver Nuggets for Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Ish Smith.
It’s a pretty even deal for both sides, and Washington are holding out hope that Bradley Beal returns to the team after opting out of his contract for next season.
Barton played well last season for the Nuggets, averaging 14.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 3.9 assists across 71 games.
For Ish Smith, if he ultimately plays for Denver, it’ll be the 13th franchise that he has played with making it an NBA record.
