The Houston Rockets picked up Jae’Sean Tate’s $1.8 million option for the upcoming 2022-23 season.
Despite the Rockets’ awful records over the last two seasons, Tate has been a big piece for the team since joining them in 2020.
Tate’s started in 135 games for the Rockets the last two seasons, and he averaged 11.8 points, 5.4 rebounds, and 2.8 assists last season shooting 49.8% from the field.
The 26-year-old will remain in Houston for the 2022-23 season, and he’s got a $2,228,276 qualifying offer for 2023-24.
