Emerging Miami Marlins shortstop Jon Berti is getting the day off on Saturday against the New York Mets.
Berti has been on a tear stealing bases lately, and he’s recorded 17 steals over 22 games since June 1.
The 32-year-old missed a portion of the 2021 season with a concussion, but he’s been off to a good start in his 2022 campaign.
In addition with his 21 stolen bases this season, Berti’s batting a solid .292/.390/.416 with 26 runs and 14 RBI.
Berti is only rostered in 30.3% of ESPN fantasy leagues, so if he’s available and you need steals and an increase in batting average, he’s certainly worth an add.
