The Seattle Mariners activated pitcher Ken Giles from the 60-day injured list Monday after recovering from a middle finger injury.
Giles missed all of last year recovering from Tommy John surgery, and now he’s been out this season due to a right middle finger issue.
The 31-year-old looks on pace to make his first Mariners debut, and he originally signed with the team on a two-year, $7M contract in February of 2021.
Giles last played in 2020 in just four games as a member of the Blue Jays, where he pitched in just 3.2 innings.
