According to Ian Begley of, the Indiana Pacers have interest in trading for Gordon Hayward from the Celtics.

Hayward, who’s expected to excercise his player option for next season for $34.2 million, doesn’t become a free agent until after 2021.

The Pacers have a lot of cash on hand in the contracts of Victor Oladipo, Malcom Brogdon, Domantas Sabonis, and Myles Turner and it wouldn’t be a surprise if any of the were moved this offseason.

Hayward of course has playing experience in Indiana where he played college ball at Butler.
