Wander Franco is back in the Tampa Bay Rays’ starting lineup for Tuesday’s series opener against the Marlins.
After dealing with quad tightness the last few days, Franco is back at shortstop and hitting secong in the lineup.
The 21-year-old is unfortunately suffering a slump dating back to leg issues since May 10, hitting .057 (2/35) with no homers in the last 10 games.
Franco will look to get back on track tonight versus Miami starting pitcher Pablo Lopez, who’s currently sporting a 4-1 record with a low 1.57 ERA.
