The Cleveland Plain Dealer reported that the Browns are unlikely to re-sign free agent wide receiver Jarvis Landry.
“It appears the door is closed on a Cleveland return,” the news outlet stated.
Cleveland selected receiver David Bell in the third round of this year’s draft, and he’s noted to most likely be the slot receiver for the ball club moving forward.
Landry, now 29-years-old, has been linked to the New Orleans Saints and Baltimore Ravens in recent inquiries.
The wideout posted career-low numbers last season with 570 receiving yards with two touchdowns.
