The San Diego Padres activated ace pitcher Mike Clevinger from the 10-day injury list to face his former Cleveland ball club.
Clevinger unfortunately missed the entire 2021 season after undergoing Tommy John Surgery, and he started out this season on the IL with knee soreness.
The 31-year-old made his last start in September of 2020, so his return is highly anticipated today.
Clevinger has posted a career 44-23 record with a 3.19 ERA with 603 strikeouts.
The righty should be rostered in standard league fantasy baseball outlets everywhere.
