According to The Athletic, the Atlanta Braves are targeting May 6 for the season debut of Ronald Acuña Jr.
Acuña is scheduled to begin a rehab assignment with Triple-A Gwinnett on Tuesday, and the plan is for him to be there for about two-and-a-half weeks before making his season debut.
The 24-year-old is progressing to return from the knee procedure he underwent to repair the injury he suffered last July.
For fantasy managers selected Acuña in the draft, this is great news as he’s recovering well and can finally get back on the field.
