Philadelphia Eagles head coach Doug Pederson said tight end Zach Ertz is “trending in the right direction” to play week 12.
Ertz has missed the last four games for the Eagles after being placed on injured reserve with a high ankle sprain.
Since the Eagles have an extra day playing on Monday night, it may give them just enough time to clear Ertz to make his return.
Although he may get cleared, don’t expect Philly to play Ertz at full capacity.
This is easily the worst career season for Ertz so far in 2020, with only 24 receptions for 178 yards and one touchdown.
