The Cleveland Guardians signed outfielder Myles Straw to a five-year, $25 million contract extension.
The deal includes an $8 million team option for 2027 and an $8.5 million team option for 2028.
Straw was acquired from the Houston Astros at the trade deadline last July and played well throughout the 2021 season.
The 27-year-old finished last season hitting .271/.349/.348 and accumulating 86 runs, 48 RBI, and 30 stolen bases.
