The New Orleans Saints signed quarterback Andy Dalton to a one-year contract worth up to $6 million next season.
The deal also includes $3 million guaranteed.
Dalton will likely serve as a backup to Jameis Winston, while Taysom Hill focuses on the tight end position,
Playing for the Bears last season, Dalton started in six games and posted a 3-3 record with 1,515 passing yards, eight touchdowns, and nine interceptions.
The 35-year-old could be serviceable to help New Orleans with his 11-year veteran presence.
