The Los Angeles Chargers signed wide receiver Mike Williams to a three-year, $60 million contract extension.
Williams has been a top target in the Chargers’ offense ever since he became a full-time starter during the 2019 season, in which he led the NFL with a 20.4 yards per reception.
The 27-year-old’s new deal includes $40 million guaranteed at signing and offers $28 million in the first year of the contract.
Williams caught 76 receptions last season with 1,146 yards and nine touchdowns.
Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert can keep building on his career with the tandem between him and Williams moving forward.
