Toronto Raptors point guard Fred VanVleet has been ruled out again tonight against the Orlando Magic as he continues to deal with right knee soreness.

It’ll be VanVleet’s fourth straight missed game for Toronto, who are also without OG Anunoby for at least the next two weeks

Malachi Flynn has averaged 14.7 points, 4.7 assists and 4.3 rebounds in three games starting in VanVleet’s place, so he’s a valuable option again for DFS purposes..

Fred is leading the league in minutes per game this season (38.2), which may have something to do with this type of injury.

With the playoffs nearing sooner and sooner, it’s possible that the Raptors are giving the 28-year-old a small break to be fresh for playoff basketball.

Toronto is now 7th in the Eastern Conference standings with a 34-28 record.

VanVleet is averaging 21.4 points, 4.5 rebounds, and 6.9 assists this season with a 18.76 player efficiency rating.
